2.The CoRT THINKING programme and the SIX HATS THINKING.

For classes IV to X

CoRT thinking lessons equip children with thinking tools.They help them to have a wider point of view or option about something, enable them to consider other people's view while solving problems, to see all the consequences of any fact, to check before making a decision, to keep the mind open to new and unexpected situations. Thinking clubs are organized to make thinking a habit for every child. Six thinking Hats are integrated in the learning process.It enables learners to focus on separate thinking skills and then combine them to gain a complete perspective. Both the Mind Map and the CoRT thinking lessons combine together will develop in students creativity and thinking habits which are fundamental for successful life.

Students associate the coloured hates with key words and questions that direct, redirect and sequence their thinking. Practice item are practical and include models showing hoe to integrate the six hats in to curriculum subject.
